News that the rival high school has burned down and the students will be attending Jefferson High School for his senior year has Liam Stark thinking nothing worst could happen. He didn't count on falling for Katja Dexereux, his arch enemies little sister. But Liam has other problems to deal with then figuring out Katja's mixed signals, like a football team that could go on to nationals if some players would just get their heads out of their asses and work as a team, or the fact that there is something strange about the kids from River Creek and the reason their school is gone. Gaining the answers to his questions might just change his whole concept of the world he lives in and his place in it.
