The perspective of the "bad guys"
Are they really so bad? Or just deeply misunderstood

"Being a hero means many different things.. to some it may mean a person who flys around the city and saves people, Some people may see hero's as people who have superpowers. But what i think a hero really is? Well i think a hero is someone who deep down is kind, someone who cares about helping everyone else more then they care about what those same people they helped think of them. Caring so much that they are fine with being called the villain of the story"

WARNING: CONTAINING AMOUNTS OF SASS PREVIOUSLY UNKNOWN TO MANKIND In the city of NYC--- Ok. Hold up. First of all, New York City. What, are ya gonna assume everyone here knows what NYC is? Anyway, this is about two people. I can almost hear you rolling your eyes. Another cliché teen fiction with a bad boy and a good girl? Nope. This is about superheroes. I can still hear you rolling your eyes. Superheroes. Like in comic books? Like people with super speed and mutant powers? Yes. But this isn't about the fight they have. More about the lives they lead without the masks. But just keep in mind, people who live in the world have all different skin colours. Do not assume my characters are of one unless I state them explicitly. and diversity is welcome here in my novel! Anyhow, back to the story. Ever wonder where supervillains go after their fight with the hero? What about the other side of the story? It's not like they sit in their lair cackling all day and planning how to kidnap reporters. What about the lives they lead? And instead of just focusing on that, what if the superhero and the supervillain knew each other? I mean, can they see behind the mask? No, so their identities are secret. So what if the hero and villain were best friends? What if they were roommates? What if they were falling for each other? And what happens when they find out? Now, I assume you know all of these questions will be answered in this book. But hold on. It's going to take a while. You're in for a bumpy ride. And if any of you got any of the references in this description, give yourself a pat on the back. That is a beautiful thing. And if you can name all the references in this book, you truly are a gift to mankind. Fangirl out.

❝All men must choose between Two Paths. Good is the path of Honor, Heroism, and Nobility. Evil... well, it's just cooler.❞ ~ Megamind If it's one thing Disney USED TO like to do, it ALWAYS had the heroes win. Here's how it goes down. You have a pretty girl who, who always has an enemy, girl gets caught in the enemy trap, strong person defeats the monster and saves the girl. Happily ever after. The end. Roll credits. But here's the thing, you never see what happened to the villains, you never hear their side of the story, their backstory that caused them to do what they did. Maybe they were banished from the land, that's why they put Sleeping Beauty under a curse that made them sleep for a hundred years. Or maybe their family pressured them into think beauty is everything and they must be the most beautiful in the land to finally get the approval that they did something good, maybe that's why they poisoned Snow White to take her beauty. What if they just wanted to get revenge for Peter Pan taking their most valuable treasure, that meant more to them in the entire world, maybe that's why they had a growing vendetta over Peter Pan. There are many other reasons why villains did what they did, but, did these heroes ever consider that these villains had a family. Like how maybe Gaston might have had a kid who had to grow up with only one parent cause the Beast killed Gaston. Or maybe how Dr. Facilier might have had a daughter, but since he was locked in the shadow realm he never got to have that valuable father-daughter relationship with her. What if Disney is hiding something from us. The story of these kids who had to grow up without a parent or with the burden of being teased because of their lineage. Well, Disney, you may be good at making giant Marvel timelines and making us cry at the end of EVERY Disney Pixar movie. But I'm good at revealing your secrets. Why be good when you can be bad instead? editor: @mya_colondres

|BOOK 1 IN "WHAT A LOVELY SERIES"| Centuries into the future, earth's humans have changed. After a newly awakened dominant genome triggered the new arrival of superpowers, earth's inhabitants finally became super like their predecessors could have only dreamed of being. With now 50% of the population possessing some kind of power, the earth runs rampant with heroes and villains. And what better to train new aspiring heroes, than thriving hero schools. And better yet, the best one across the world, the Metropolis Hero Academy. Lilith Ito is a rather odd case. With a rather dark past that left Lilith both with no memory of the event and an unclassified type of Dissociative Identity Disorder, Lilith's home life had always been less than perfect. But as she began to acquire powers and a mentor with a similar ability, Lilith began to do something for herself, even without the intentions of a hero. But after her mentor was killed in action, Lilith finally takes one more selfish step and gets into M.H. Academy based on her dead mentor's recommendation letter. But keeping her past from her new classmates is hard. From new friends that Lilith doesn't want to scare away to a boy that somehow has captured her heart, Lilith has got her hands full. And as a hidden evil begins to arise from the shadows, Lilith will have to tackle her new life as a hero student with a clear conviction of whom she wants to be and what she'll sacrifice to get there. But dear reader, you must always remember: Evil still lurks around the corner. TO COMPLY WITH WATTPAD GUIDELINES, THE FOLLOWING BOOK HAS BEEN MARKED AS MATURE FOR ITS GRAPHIC VIOLENCE. READER DISCRETION IS ADVISED.

I only ever met one man I'd call truly noble. He was a man who was misunderstood and worthy of the world, yet everyone saw him differently. That was until I saw his true colours. The more I caught his eye the more he noticed me. We would pass each other, I would always stare a little longer at his back, wondering his story. People used to move out of the hallways if they saw him approaching whereas people would come and talk to me. He kept to himself, I was never alone, he had no friends, I was friends with everyone, I never saw him talk to anyone I spoke to many. we were polar opposites. At least that's what I thought until that day in the library, that is where I will start this story. Everyone is different, I hate the word "different", I much prefer the word unique. Unique is the only way to describe him. This is not just a story about love, it is about helping two souls who act differently but are the same on the inside, it shows the messy parts that aren't shown in movies, the tragedy, and the comedy but most of all the sizzling romance between two broken people who became one. Who is this story about? Caden James. But this is not just his story, It is ours.
