Shades of the Moon [Rough Draft]

Twelve year old Bradley wants nothing more than to join the Royal Military just like his father, but a horror filled night and the disappearance of someone close to him will send him down a different path. He will figure out that the world is a dark place with danger around every corner, and learn what it means when the moon changes colors.
I'll be posting chapter by chapter, this is just to get some constructive criticism. Book is not finished.
