Copyright© He held me and asked "what's wrong?" I looked at his beautiful forest green eyes and smiled and said "I'm fine." He spoke once again, "what's behind that pretty little smile of yours?" My breath got caught in my throat, suddenly I couldn't move. He just stared at me with his beautiful eyes. I was done, I know he's going to be the death of me. 'Did he figure me out?' The day Ethan and I got engaged, he smiled and coaxed me into giving him a kiss. I did, blushing, but then I heard his real thoughts: "So disgusting." "Does she really think she's cute?" "If it wasn't for this mission, for saving the girl I truly love, who would want to act like this with her?" But later, after he'd returned to his own world and saw the girl he'd longed for, there was no joy. Instead, he hurt himself like a madman, desperate to return to my world, just to see me one more time. Author's Note: I post a new chapter almost every single day!
