A second chance with your crush should be the best thing ever.... Sequel to THE CATFISH & ME.

Intelligent, elegant, and salutatorian of her graduating high school class, Inaya Muhammad has her eyes set on two things: a certain Salvadoran she plays CrusadEon Online with and a bachelor's degree in Computer Science. But when Valentino starts becoming distant, Inaya knows there's not much she can do about it--after all, she can't have a relationship before marriage.

So when her worldview completely shifts, it isn't because she gets dumped; she doesn't get a boyfriend, go partying, or anything like that. No, it all starts when what was supposed to be a regular freshman year in college starts acting up.

With changes to her family dynamic and a new girl who could take Valentino away from her, will Inaya be able to create her own happily ever after? Or is she fated to move on from Valentino-in-game and in real life?

"Are you running away from me?" A playful voice made me stop in my tracks. My heart thudded in alarm, and I had to remind myself that we were in school, with multiple witnesses around us. He couldn't harm me here. I turned around with a glare, but the second I looked at his face, my courage crumbled.
The memory of him threatening to snap my neck if I reported him and his crew hit me like a brick. Swallowing my fear, I met his eyes. "Weren't you the one who told me to stay away from trouble?" A crooked grin tugged at his lips and he brought his face closer. "Yeah. But looks like trouble doesn't want to stay away from you." I blinked.
What? *** [muslim girl x bad boy] Bareera Omar, a.k.a Rory, thought junior year's biggest challenge would be adjusting to life and dealing with how people treated her now that she'd chosen to openly embrace her Muslim identity, and started wearing the hijab. What she didn't expect, however, was to get tangled up with Romero Allen - her school's infamous senior and the walking definition of trouble. One moment, he's bullying her.
The next, he's scaring off the guys who try to mess with her. They don't consider each other friends.
But calling them enemies doesn't quite fit either. Maybe they're something in between. Something along the lines of 'frenemies'. *** "So what do you want us to be? We can't be both. Either we're friends or we're enemies." "Lovers." #1 in stereotypes #1 in goodgirl #1 in badboygoodgirl

Amara Mahmoud is a 20-year-old, Muslim girl who is in her fourth year of undergraduate studies. She has a loving family and the most amazing best friends someone could ask for. She's quiet, but can stand her ground. She's trying to navigate her way through this western world, while trying to keep her love for her religion as alive as ever. Peter Bilal is in the same year as Amara but he is the complete opposite of her in almost every way. He's loud, outspoken, and an extrovert. He's the biggest flirt, aiming his charming ways at any female who's remotely close enough to hear him. Not only that, he's a non-believer, unlike Amara, who's love for her Creator is full in her heart. Amara isn't a perfect Muslim, she makes mistakes but always learns from them. Peter always makes mistakes but never seems to care much about it. Will they be able to cross paths without destruction? Or is that too much of a delusional thought for people who are polar opposites? P.S. I suck at descriptions, I suggest actually giving the story a shot for a better judgement 😂 Warning: this story is only FICTION and the characters are NOT perfect Muslims. They are NOT to be taken as role models of any sorts & do NOT take them as representing Islam. So y'all haram police need to relax & don't read if you're triggered lol.
