Rider Williams is just an ordinary 19 year old girl. She is caught up in the zombie apocalypse. She has been in and out of groups, but since her last encounter with one, she hasn't seen humans in 5 years. She knows how to defend for herself, scavenge for food, survive and move stealthily and quietly. She can kill herds of zombies all by herself. Other than everything i just explained to you, She is malnourished and the walkers are getting worse by the hour.
Jack Gilinsky is a 19 year old leader of his group of 12 people. He is trying to defend his 'permanent' safe house from the 'Fireflies': A group of 10 teenagers who have taken over towns full f the living, barricading it from the infected. The leader of the Fireflies is a ruthless, coldhearted bastard named Kian Lawley. He has killed his own sister without remorse or a second thought. Just a blank face and an empty soul. But when Rider stumbles upon Jack and his group what will happen to Jack? More importantly, what will happen to Rider?

Firstly, A trigger warning for mental health/ self inflicted wounds when reading. you're only 18 years old. your name is zoe. you always had a love for the apocalypse but didn't think it would truly happen. and you slowly learn that nobody is who they say they are. Nobody is to be trusted. Things are gonna fall apart, and nobody can save us now. This book is being rewritten again and hopefully is better than the first and second time it was published. It's kind of cringe most of the way. Wrote it when i was like 13-14 years old or something and tried rewriting when I was about 16. Didn't work. Trying to rewrite it again at 20 but i don't think the first two books are saveable. Book three so far however is going well(i believe anyway). The second book has also been rewritten and will be rewritten again. now I'm working on finishing book three. All characters are mine but ellis is not I will be changing a lot of character names again in this rewriting process in all books, ellis being the biggest.Complete
