ROSEMARY ANDALORO'S life took the term "soulmates" way too literally. Technically, it wasn't Romi's fault. How could she have known that the empathy link would be too strong? She didn't even know she made an empathy link. Well, now she was stuck. Stuck at age she didn't know anymore. Romi just watched on as everything around her changed. She watched her friends grow old, and turn against or away from her. And Romi got used to it. She was used to being the same. She knew couldn't age until her empathetically linked "soulmate" aged, and that wasn't going to happen if said person was a tree.
