"Somehow we became best friends and I learned that his laugh was the best sound I had ever heard. The way his voice sounded, it would take me to a place and make me forget my troubles. Oh I loved the way he said my name. Everything about him was beauty in its purest form. He didn't even have to try. I was in love with him before I had even met him. I was in love with the thought of him. He was like a piece of art. More appreciated than any other thing on this earth. He was finally worth something. He had always been worth everything to me, But he isn't hear to know that. I don't have a penny to my name because I gave them all to him. I don't want to be worth anything if it means I won't have him. No one could ever come close to us. There was no other match like us that was so flawlessly perfect even with all of our flaws. I'll never find anyone else like him because without him there is no us and nothing could ever come close to a love like us."Kumpleto

No Rain, No Flowers
She fell in love with the boy next door when she was just five years old. Despite Christian being 5 years older than Michelle, she would stop at nothing for him to return her love. "I felt tears welling up again. My silence forced him to look my way. I turned my head quickly hoping he wouldn't see me starting to cry. "I didn't realize I looked so bad in my bathing suit still..." I said quietly after a beat. "What do you mean?" he asked me confused. "Your reaction to how bad I looked, you told me to put my clothes back on..." I stopped trying not to cry and let a tear fall. "Shit, Michelle... You didn't look bad.... I was just.... Shocked. You look like you're going into college. That's a far cry from what you looked like at the beginning of the summer. Guys were gawking at you. I had to decide if I should stay and keep you covered up or go and knock them out, so they couldn't look at you." He stopped simply because he ran out of air. I was smiling by this point. "Oh, you find this amusing?" he asked. I chuckled. "Well, no. It's just, I thought I had really changed this Summer. I am starting middle school this week and I am super nervous about not being the fat nerd from last year..." Christian shook his head. "You have changed drastically. When you climbed into the van this morning, I barely recognized you. We can't go for months without seeing each other anymore because I won't know who you are if you keep growing up like this."Kumpleto
final round - lrh
the story of a boy and a girl who rely on each other to keep one another alive emotionally and physically. // "It wasn't just a kiss, Lila," I say, cutting her off, not wanting her to think that I view it that way at all. I've known that from the second I walked away from her and how angry I was that I was feeling something so drastic as a result. My heart was racing immensely and it infuriated me. I was so fucking pissed that I acted on impulse and kissed the girl. Lila doesn't say anything, handing over the floor to me in order for me to give my side of the story. After all, I've hardly given her an explanation regarding it and she deserves that at the very least. "I've been wanting to do it again ever since that night," I admit to her, a breath leaving my lips. "I've held back every urge every time you've challenged me, every time you've looked at me a certain way, every time you smiled a bit wider whenever you saw me, every time you-" She cuts me off immediately, as if in fear of where this conversation is heading, "You're my lieutenant." I don't hesitate in response, "What if I want to be more than that?"
