Heath Niklaus Alarcon was devastated by what had happened to his friend. When the doctor informed them that their friend was in a coma, their world came to a halt. The incident had a significant impact on the three of them, particularly Hans, to the point where he stopped going to school and instead chose to stay in the hospital where his friend was confined, resulting in poor grades and dropping out of college. When his grandmother found out about of it, she decided to bring Hans to the province of Bicol so that he could experience a new environment.
