Book two:

Arothena's one solution is to fight, but in a world of deals and democracy, that will soon become a problem.
Eloise is gone, and the Man-Rellae War is officially beginning. Arothena is back in Cestrada, Ronan at her side as they negotiate armies and support for peace - but their fight is not going well.
Salene has left to visit the Northern Mountains, curious about the people there - their customs, their allegiance, and most importantly, the mysteries that lie obscured by their famous mountains.
However, both parties soon find that more always lies beneath the surface, and with the threat of thousands of deaths hovering just over their heads, can their cause manage to survive? And, more importantly, can they?
