Minato Namikaze as a orphan never knew his parents but little did anyone know his mother was a Yamanaka and he skipped a generation with thier mind related jutsu's.

Kushina Uzumaki knew that her clan can sense emotions from chakara with enough training but she was never able to do it which means she never told anyone and just forgot about it all together.

The Kyuubi like the Uzumaki can sense emotions but to point were the Kyuubi can feel the intention of someone.

Naruto was a special case because he has the mind abilities from the Yamanaka clan, Uzumaki clan and being born from the Jinchuuriki that combined into a new ability... The ability to hear thoughts... But also to absorb information at a extremely rapid pace.

This ability doesn't stop which means the boy that should know nothing actually knows almost everything he shouldn't. Whether it be learning jutsu's, to the Kyuubi inside of him or to finding out who his real parents are...........

Even to how all the villagers want to kill and torture him....
