She keeps her face close to mine without an immediate response to my question, looking uncertain and flicking her gaze down to my mouth due to its close proximity to her own.
When her blue eyes meet mine once more after becoming momentarily distracted, her rapid breaths puffing against my upper lip and cheeks flaming in nerves, I send her a hopeful smile and await the answer I know will leave her parted lips.
"I don't know," she shakily exhales, "But I don't want to stop."
