Mia has only wanted one thing since the pandemic started, connection. With being alone most of the time because of her parents unruly traveling, she longs for something real again. In the current world of dating apps, she decides to give them a try in hopes that she might find someone to love and be with. But with high frustration and low motivation she doesn't believe she will ever find someone.

Cole is lonely and tired. He wishes this pandemic was over and he could go and be with his friends again. He was quite popular in high school and that transferred over to college when he decided to go to Ohio State University along with his friends. But since a lot of that has been put on hold, and classes are now online, he decides to take his social life online too.
