This is a story about a Girl (or so) Named Aspen growing up in an abusive home. with her father gone, and her mother being abused by new men, she is forced to grow up quickly. too quickly. by 14 she is working to help pay bills, and having to take care of her family. She tries to talk to her school friends, but starting from a young age, she was taught how she felt was a burden to others. As a result, she has a hard time explaining her feelings without feeling guilty.
As she goes through life or death situations, she eventually gets to her breaking point.
What will her Parents say? will anyone ever listen to her? how will she survive 3 more years of this loving hell hole?
