Tarrant Hightopp was a normal boy. His father worked in a hat shop. 2 months ago, Rant got Mad Hatters disease and was suffering in the hospital. he had visited many doctors before, but none of them knew how to cure it because it hadn't been in the country in years. His father had insisted on making hats the old fashioned way, but sadly, Rant had gone to the shop with out his mercury mask on one day and he was paying for it everyday now.
