Adrien Agreste is a enthusiastic fresh out of the academy police officer who comes from a long line of cops. Adrien gets the opportunity to join the Paris Police force run but his by-the-book Brother, Captain Felix Agreste.
His intention is to get closure for the murder of a his childhood friend, Marinette Dupain-Cheng. The main reason he became an officer of the law but his brother won't let him investigate it as it is considered a solved case.
So he enlists Detective Bridgette Liang, a out-of-the-box, vulgar, woman with a mysterious past, to lend a helping hand in investigating the Dupain-Cheng case. But perhaps he will find out more then he bargained for.
