Raymond's magic was never good. When his childhood love Suzana convinced him to move to Gallupa he thought he would be devoured by the mages in the Collegium or the vampires in the High Council. He could never imagine that Melissa, a werewolf, would be the one to fancy him with fangs and claws sharper than life.
