Tyler and Mia have been best friends since elementary school. They've been through a lot together, including giving each other their first kiss and Mia losing her virginity to him. That night changes everything and Mia finds herself struggling to maintain their friendship. She tries to move on but Tyler is always there. He doesn't want to be with her but he doesn't want anyone else to be either. Throughout her struggle, Mia learns more about herself and meets many new people. But will any of that matter if she loses her best friend? "What is wrong with you?" Mia asks in disbelief. Tyler sighs, crossing his arms over his chest. "I don't do relationships. You know that," he replies, shrugging slightly. Mia contemplates what to do. She has two choices: 1.) Walk away and never look back, meaning she'd lose him. Or 2.) Forget anything ever happened and allow him to continue walking all over her, meaning she wouldn't lose him. Either way, she'd be the one getting hurt. "Then I don't 'do' this friendship anymore. Goodbye, Tyler." {The first 5 chapters are published on Wattpad as a preview. The story is 100% complete & published on another platform (more info in my bio). I chuckled slightly and shook my head. "Does that usually work for you? The cute little remarks and that nice smile." I teased. He gave me a sheepish look of surprise. "Most girls would be flattered at my attempt to flirt with them." I scoffed and shook my head. "Well, as a member of the "most girls" community, I can say that I am not." "Wow. That's a bit harsh." He gave me a smug look and crossed his arms. "Sorry," I shrugged. "I'm immune to boy charms. In fact, I think I'm allergic." "Well, don't think so highly of yourself. Just because you have cute dimples and a pretty face, doesn't mean I find you attractive." ------------------------------ Maya Cameron is a senior at Ohio State University and this is the year where you need to get your life together before you get pushed out into the real world. Writing is the only thing that keeps her sane after all of the trauma she's been though. With her mom and dad's unfortunate death, she's been left under the care of her evil step-aunt and forced to stay with her annoying step-cousin. As if college isn't stressful enough. And then there's this other guy in her life. They met online by accident and have been talking for months but she's not brave enough to make it something real. Will Ashby is the all-around superstar on campus. He's practically royalty because he's the running back on the Ohio State Football team: one of the best college football teams in America. Will is the person guys want to be and guy girls want to be with. But in actuality, he'd rather blend in with the background noise. His only focus has been football and finishing his degree. That was until he met this girl. He doesn't even know her name or what she looks like, but she's the girl he'd want to be real with. Because of circumstances, Will needs an English tutor or he won't be able to play. And much to her dismay, Maya is the perfect person for the job. Started: January 2021 Completed: October 2021

"Wait," I put my hands on my hips and frown. "You woke me up to ask me this? Because you want to meet me every morning at five?" "Yes." "So you honestly expect me to throw away three hours of perfectly good sleep just to have coffee with you?" He rolls his eyes and smirks at me. "Yes." "And what's in it for me?" he takes a step towards me. "Duh. You get to drink coffee with me every day for a year," he points at his face. "Are you going to say no to this pretty face, are you?" I hand him a five-dollar bill. "Fine, I'll do it," he smiles. "Now go get me a mocha latte and a cream cheese bagel." √ √ √ Ella Cliff has always been the girl with a perfect Instagram feed, an amazing closet and boyfriends to die for. How bad could it be to enlist your female best friend into helping you lie to your Christian family about your new relationship with your male best friend and about your newfound sexuality? Not that bad, right? Right??? --------- Nova Queen and Arizona "Ari" Matthews weren't always close in high school, but after an intense and serious conversation in the library one day, the two become the best of friends until they go their separate ways their freshman year of college. Now in their mid 20s and freshly out of grad school, they are reunited in the park of their hometown where Ari asks a huge favor of Nova that she later wishes she had refused. But in the end, will she really wish she had refused? *FA spans a timeline from 2010-2020 to help the reader see how the relationships were built between characters in a partial series of flashbacks. It also helps the reader to really see into the minds of Arizona and Nova as they age, and the effect different life events have on them. It's a bit of a slower build and the plot is mostly seen a little later in the book, but I promise it's worth it. 🙂 *I do not own any of the rights to the music nor the pictures. *Rated M for language, sexual content, destructive behaviors, suicide, and dialogue that may be triggering for some readers. *These characters may do or say things that you don't agree or may get upset with, please remember YOU ARE NOT THESE PEOPLE, and their lives are a work of fiction and my imagination. An Unexpected Moment

42 parts Complete

... that changes everything Sarah was starting her junior year of high school. Looking at herself in the mirror, she saw a pretty average blonde haired, blue eyed, teenager. She was neither in the popular group, nor one of the many cliched outsiders. Sarah was a nobody. She liked to blend in and lay low. It was her way out of not only this town, but her house. No one knew it, but her father was a high functioning alcoholic that often took his anger out on his family. With her older sister now in college, it had turned to her more often. Laying low in general was a good strategy. Across town, Ryan was prepping for his final year in high school. While he wasn't the stereotypical quarterback of the football team, he did fit into the popular crowd. His sports of choice included basketball and soccer, either of which might line him up for a scholarship next year. Ryan had a group of close friends and a lot of adoring acquaintances. It wasn't easy juggling his athletics and keeping the grades up, but he was just that good. The supporting parents didn't hurt either. It might be a cliché romance, but it will be fun to see what the year and beyond holds. ------------------------------------------ This is a story I wrote years ago, or at least partially wrote. As I transcribe it here, I have tried to update it a bit and give the characters/story more depth than what I had when I was younger. Hopefully it all gets pulled together!
