James Potter has gained quite a fame among the Dark Lord's followers for his ruthless demeanor when capturing, interrogating, and imprisoning active Death Eaters. After the Order of the Phoenix discovers that Regulus Black, Voldemort's youngest and one of the less prominent followers, might know a secret that could be useful to end Voldemort and his reign of terror, only James could be entrusted with the task of tracking him down and using all his ingenuity and cold blood to rip out all Black's secrets one by one.

That being said, Sirius Black better not find out what happens in his best friend's basement when the silencing spells are casted.
