The 25 year old Maria is broke. The European woman has no home, no parents and she's living on the streets of South Korea on her own. Her life is meaningless and she doesn't know how to get hold of money. But then, one day something happens. A strange man offers her to take part in a mysterious game. If she wins the game, she gets 45,6 billion won. This is everything she ever needed! But little did she know what she's getting into. She accepts the offer and later finds herself fighting for survival. Because what the man never mentioned: If she loses the game, she will die.
