this is a hunger games/ avengers story

y/n is a widow in the red room. Every year Dreykov sends one widow to district 12 to be part of the ceremony to hopefully get picked as tribute. He mostly sends widows who aren't good a fighting to try and get rid of them. This year he sends y/n; his best widow. She has no clue why he would pick her until she arrives...

Natasha is in the avengers tower with the others watching the hunger games. Her and Clint got an order to take down an assassin. To kill the time before they leave they decided to watch the hunger games. They can't do anything about the games despite how badly they want to. All of a sudden they see their target on the tv. They keep watching and discover some interesting things...

Y/n is a young teenager who just recently moved to New York from Europe where she lived with friends. She's presumably an orphan, though she never knew for sure as she knows nothing about her family. Due to her intelligence many schools like Midtown-High offered her a spot in a class two years above her age and made a deal with her that she'd get everything that was necessary for going to their school and that she wouldn't need a guardian to sign stuff. In return, the school gets a better reputation by having a highly intelligent student joining it's classes. In NYC, she lives alone in an apartment as she can take care of herself. Also, she is very skilled in any kind of science. Physically, she can do much as well. After her first day at her new school, she wanted to text her new friend but read a 7 as a 1, resulting her to text an unknown number of someone quite famous. -Does she gain their trust and the other way around or is it the opposite? -Is she going to find out about her family? -Why did she choose exactly that school? Everyone knows of the Black Widows, but very few know of the Red Thorn. "Most of the intelligence community doesn't believe she exists, those who do call her the Red Thorn.
