Threads Of The Void
In the 30th century, humanity has expanded to the distant exoplanet of Abyssia, a world teeming with danger and mystery. As reality itself begins to unravel, whispers of the Void-a cosmic force beyond comprehension-emerge, leaving behind anomalies that twist life and death. Shirozai, a haunted drifter with a tragic past, is thrown into an unlikely alliance with Yoshiko, an alien woman whose deadly actions mask a deeper struggle. When their journey leads them to an abandoned research facility, they cross paths with Arlena, a sharp-witted explorer, and Luther, a man hiding his own secrets. But as monstrous creatures hunt them and the cult-like Church of Null rises in power, the fragile threads of existence begin to fray. In a world on the brink of collapse, survival may come at the ultimate cost.
the rise of the void
After their victory at the Temple of Elarion, the guardians are celebrated as heroes, but they know the threat of the Void is far from over. The dark leader's ominous words echo in their minds, spurring them to uncover more about this looming menace. As they study the tome and consult with scholars and sages, they learn that the Void is an ancient, primordial force of chaos and entropy, intent on unbalancing the world and consuming its light. The guardians' quest takes them across diverse and dangerous lands. They seek out hidden archives, long-forgotten temples, and wise hermits, each revealing pieces of a larger puzzle. They learn that the Void can be temporarily repelled but never fully destroyed, as it is a natural counterpart to the light. However, there are ways to maintain the balance, ensuring that neither side gains dominance. Their journey is fraught with peril as the Void's influence begins to manifest more visibly, corrupting nature, warping creatures, and drawing in those who seek power. The guardians must face off against these corrupted beings, all while dealing with their internal struggles and the growing pressure of their mission. In a climactic revelation, they discover that the convergence mentioned in the tome-the alignment of stars that amplifies the Star of Elion's power-also has a counterpart: a celestial event that strengthens the Void's influence. This event is rapidly approaching, and the guardians realize they must act quickly to prepare. The story culminates in a desperate bid to gather allies and fortify a sacred site believed to be a focal point of the Void's influence. As the celestial event looms, the guardians face their greatest challenge yet, battling not just physical manifestations of the Void but also the lure of despair and doubt within themselves.

But when she and Kael are bound by a force more powerful than any of the creatures hunting her, Taryn will be dragged into a world that has co-existed with her own since the beginning of time, where those she is told to trust cannot be trusted at all and where even a normal face can hide a demonic past.
