Lesia Mirri never wanted to be a Jedi. The rules of the Code didn't sit well with her restless spirit. Lesia resisted their teachings and attempted to close herself off from the Force. In a final attempt to teach her, the Jedi Council assigned her to Master Ki Adi Mundi. During the final months of the Clone Wars, Lesia found herself growing close to her master and she became more open to what he had to say. When the Purge disrupted life as she had known it, Lesia was thrown headfirst into a lawless galaxy. Armed only with the little knowledge she'd bothered to learn, Lesia struggles to make a way for herself. Once, she had shunned the Jedi. Now, the galaxy needs them, needs her, more than ever. The way of the Mandalore is not an easy path to follow, but it is all Nakoa Sen has ever known. As a child, he found himself being raised by a Mandalorian covert, one of the first who called themselves Children of the Watch. Nakoa later chose to venture into the galaxy as a bounty hunter, to provide for his new Clan. He stumbles across Lesia Mirri and eventually recruits her help for a mission. He quickly learns that while he devoutly follows his code, there are others who abhor rules of any kind. Nakoa soon finds himself wondering if he truly knows what path he wants to follow, and if he can actually break the code that his people hold so dear. Warning This book, while being a work of fiction, still contains real elements and deals with the subject of war. There may be chapters that deal with death, suicide, slight gore, etc. (Canon characters as well as planets within the Star Wars universe are not created by me. -Part I of "Heart of Empire, Heart of Rebellion" Series- TK-65780 has been an Imperial stormtrooper for so long that he's forgotten any other name he ever had. An orphan from Corellia, the Imperial military was his way out and he never once looked back. Lying wounded on the beaches of Scarif, he looks back across his career and at the friends he made. They're just a string of numbers in the Empire, and to the Rebellion they're just more identical faces of an endless army, but for him they each had a name. And they gave him one of his own. - |Highest Rank| #1 in #stormtrooper [9/5/2019], [5/29/2022], [11/2/2023], & [4/3/2024] #1 in #rogueone [4/2/2024] & [4/16/2024] #1 in #starwarsrebels [4/15/2024] --- Cover by @thesquarecheese --- **DISCLAIMER: I do not own Star Wars, or any of the related characters except for the original characters featured in this story.
