After his younger brother goes missing without a trace, Robert decides to dawn a cape and costume to track him down. Whenever he puts the mask on he's no longer Robert Trenton, but instead becomes Guardian; the watcher in the night.
Thrust into a conspiracy spanning across multiple cities, Guardian must come face to face with the true horrors of human nature. Without any allies or friends Guardian is forced unravel the web on his lonesome.

Especially when new villains start crawling out of the woodwork, thirsty for a fight, and his old villains return stronger, angrier, and looking to settle a score. As Emerson starts to uncover the truth behind where all these villains are coming from, he finds that not everything is what it seems on the surface. Especially seeing a man flying around in the air, claiming to be the city's superhero. At least he wasn't wearing that embarrassing spandex outfit. Alas, due to her capability for getting into trouble, the city's superhero eventually recognises her and not in a good way, at all. Catching a superhero's attention is never a good thing. -------------------------- Opening and closing his mouth, he made some gestures as if he was trying to speak but he couldn't find the words to convey his message. "...what are you?" He finally managed to speak and I blinked my eyes at him. The heck? Does he think I am some sort of...alien? It's not like I'm some kind of weird species!
