You, Annabel Cornwall, were disgusted at what your father just said, he owns this huge oil company, his name is 𝐋𝐞𝐯𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐮𝐬 𝐂𝐨𝐫𝐧𝐰𝐚𝐥𝐥.
You always disliked your father. He didn't care for anybody but himself and his oil. You were always into books and nature which was very different from what your father wanted you to be.
"My scouts just found this massive patch of oil underneath the wapiti reservation, were planning on moving them and then digging it up," he says with a high tone in his voice.
Before his business partner could speak you beat him to it.
"You can't do that, that's breaking the peace treaty that was signed three years ago and that's destroying the land!" you blurt out while quickly slamming the book that you were reading shut.
"Honey we talked about this, don't talk back to me, I don't want to look like I have a bafoon for a daughter" he whispers to you sternly.

Those words sunk into you deep, like a thousand knives sinking into your skin.
