Years ago, there were eight kingdoms around Equestria: The Moonstone Mountains, The Scorching Deserts, The Ice Kingdom, The Sparkling Oceans, Applelosa, The Enchanted Forest, The Aviary Jungle and the Mystic Swamps.

These realms were ruled by eight legendary heroes, Starswirl The Bearded, Kai the Pyromancer, Mist Mane, Sonambula, Rockhoof, Meadowbrook, Flash Magnus and Mama Greta, they ruled over the lands with kindness and compassion, and with the help of eight ancient guardians, they were able to face the mightiest of foes.

But one sad day, the heroes were facing up against a being known as The Pony Of Shadows, being full of darkness and despair, which was brought to life by an ally known as Stygian, who was once an ally of the ancient heroes.

The Heroes thought they could defeat him, but he proved to be too strong for the heroes, so the Pony Of Shadows easily defeated the Heroes by draining their magic, and to make matters worse, he has become allies with Oroku Saki, the General of the Fearsome Foot Clan.

With no other options, Princess Celestia and Princess Luna sent eight magical girls to each of the realms, hoping that they will be able to restore them back to their former glory.All Rights Reserved
