Her mom was a scientist (I know it is not true, but it is for the story line so Ya), and she was the guinea pig, after she got an injection that changed her life, how will she be normal ever again? She is a kick ass 14 year old who got separated from her family one week before the apocalypse happened. She was lost, and all she wants to do now is find her brothers and find a cure.
