Thus, she promised herself that she would do anything to succeed, striving to seize every opportunity that came her way. In the midst of searching for her oasis amid piling problems, she encountered a bakery-slash-café owner; a tall, visually mesmerizing, and above all, arrogant man.

She thought that being in his embrace would fill the hollow space in her heart; she believed his embrace was the safe shelter she had been waiting for.
