در تاریکی جاده بین‌شهری سوار ماشینش می‌شوم. تا می‌فهمد خبرنگارم سعی می‌کند خیلی گرم بگیرد. در گفت‌وگوهای اولیه، شماره موبایلم را می‌خواهد. اعتماد نمی‌کنم شماره ایرانی‌ام را بدهم. شماره‌ای را می‌دهم که در افغانستان برای داشتن اینترنت خریده‌ام. صبح روز بعد، تلفنم زنگ می‌خورد. خودش است. با نگرانی پاسخش را می‌دهم مخصوصا به دلیل اینکه سعی می‌کند خیلی راحت صحبت کند. قرار می‌شود همدیگر را در نقطه‌ای از شهر کابل ببینیم. همین اتفاق می‌افتد.
