Emmaline Meijers, as anyone else she grew up with, has known of Nathan Boulder since they were kids, but they don't really know anything about him. This has caused their classmates to spread nasty rumors about him and his sister through out the years, essentially outcasting him out of the Winston Prep bubble. Emma could care less though, the only thing that matters to her is getting good grades and graduating so can she join her dad on the local police force. Nathan Boulder is a giant of a kid who likes to keep to himself. His sense of fashion is terrible and he loves his quirky sister, after all she is the only family he has left. Nathan has always been content with being introverted and all by his lonesome, but when him and Emma's paths suddenly collide when they are paired up for a biology project, Nathan finds himself between a rock and hard place when a cute and overly curious girl gets closer and closer to finding out about his supernatural secret that's getting harder to keep as such.
