    Polly Mendle was content in her life. 
    Ok, content-ish, but that's beside the point. She certainly didn't expect for her entire life to change in a matter of seconds.
      When a strange man approaches her in the streets and shoves a letter into her hands, she's weirded out, but not overly concerned. Until she opens it and sees the threat written inside. Nothing is going to convince her to go on a wild goose chase over some prank.
      Until Nathaniel shows up. He has a letter just like hers, a convenient mystery man who convinces her to join him on the quest. But with masked men trying to kill them, betrayal, sudden friendships and budding attraction, Polly's going to have to put on her big girl panties and face this head on.
