Patton and Virgil stayed hidden among the crates, the younger one whispering frantically to the former as they heard fighting above them.
"They're gonna find us here! We're dead, we're so dead! And if they don't then we're stranded and then dead!" Patton gripped Virgil's shoulder and covered his mouth.
"Shh, it's okay, we'll be fine. I'll make sure of it, we won't die, I promise." Patton uncovered Virgil's mouth and held him close.
"You can't promise something like that." Tears brimmed Virgil's eyes and he gripped Patton's shirt, speaking in a soft voice - one Patton has known since childhood, the older brother just held him.
"I wish I could." They both fell silent as the fighting stopped, now whoever attacked the vessel was raiding it.

Yes, I made another story. No, I'm not good at committing. ADHD is an absolute pain when it comes to projects, lol. But yeah, I currently have an intruality fixation, and there's just not enough good books, so I'm making them!
I made the cover this time and I absolutely love how it turned out, although it's not the proper drawing I did I think it turned out really well.

Hold On (Book 1 of It's Not Over)
[Completed] Sanders Sides human au fanfic. Twin brothers Virgil and Patton Novas have moved around a lot thanks to their father's job. From their father's home country, and their birth place, of Cabo Verde to their mother's country of birth, Ireland. From Ireland to Massachusetts. From Massachusetts to Arizona. After spending several years in a stable environment they're moving again, this time not only are they leaving behind friends but also their mother's grave. Virgil has to convince his twin brother and their dad that, despite his terrible migraines and sometimes crippling anxiety, he won't go down the same road as his mother. On top of having an overprotective family he has to navigate being the new kid in his senior year of high school, making friends, falling in love, and learning how to save a life. How hard can the next nine months be? All he has to do is hold on and convince his new best friend to do the same. I do not own the characters Virgil, Patton, Roman, Remus, Deceit, Remy, or Emile Picani. They belong to the awesome, amazingly talented cinnamon roll that is Thomas Sanders. I also don't like 99% of the music and song lyrics that will make an appearance in this book. I am, however, the proud owner of the hyperactive muse (by the name of Orion who makes an appearance in here) that spawned this story into existence when he was supposed to be helping me work on my other two fan fictions and three original works. Remus is well known in his little town. Mainly because he has a personality disorder. One minute, he's your typical neighbor, the next- he insults noses for existing and has peculiar needs. No one knows where the killer is from, since he kills in the neighbouring cities and towns. The killer's last known victims where in Remus' very town. Thus the reason for Logan's visit. Reptile - Janus Angst
This is based on a role play I did in a Sanders Sides fan group. It is also inspired by the show Kipo and the Age of Wonderbeasts and a podfic called The Selfish Protector by DragonSaphira Reads. Anyway synopsis: Janus wasn't sure where it had all gone wrong. Everything had been going so well. He'd been getting along better with the ligh- 'other' sides, Roman and Virgil had definitely seemed to be getting used to his presence in videos, and they'd even been inviting him to join in on their famILY traditions. Where had it gone wrong? His snake half. Janus had noticed that he'd been adopting more reptilian traits. Shedding? Fine. A few extra scales? Easy to hide... mostly. But it's become more and more prominent and more and more painful and frustrating to deal with. Janus won't ask for help, fearing the others might start to not trust him again and undo everything he'd worked for. How will this go? Patton lives in a world where the first words your soulmate says to you is written on your skin. The permentant presence of the words 'You're in my seat' on his thigh had yet to disappear until his soulmate utters them one day. Deep down he dreaded that day. You see, Patton had no interest in a romantic relationship which was abnormal in a world ruled by the soulmate system. Virgil hated the soulmate system. He hated it because it gave him the words 'well aren't you a ray of sunshine' printed boldly on his forehead. Luckily for him, foundation was his best friend (and his only friend, for that matter). He never showed it, but he longed for the day his soulmate would sweep the aggravating statement off his forehead and him off his feet. Logan, to put it simply, was married to his work. A love interest didn't interest him in the slightest. The only heed he took that the soulmate system existed was the thinly printed 'what did you say?' on his left palm. He heard that statement a lot but the mild annoyance on his hand was yet to disappear. Roman lived up to his name as a big romantic. In his eyes, the soulmate system was the best thing to happen to him, so the fact that the words written on his collarbone were 'go away' really burst his bubble. The thought of spending his life with his 'other half' was enthralling to him, but the fact his dad expected him to settle down with a nice girl was terrifying. The Borrower and the Fairy Prince
*Completed* Virgil has never had it easy, not since he was kicked out of his home by his own father. He's struggled to survive, and has fought for food. He sees what should have been an easy meal, some berries on a tree hanging over the river. It should have been easy to get it, of course the stupid branch had to break and he was sent plummeting into the river. Roman loves to sneak away from his colony and his fae duties to head to the river, he's always wondered what is on the other side of it. Of course, he and everyone else in his colony is banned from crossing it. One day though, a stranger with no wings and a tail washes up on the river bank. When he takes him back to the colony, he's put in charge of taking care of him. Thomas has inherited his home from family, it's in the middle of nowhere in a forest. It was nice, and not too far from his home is a nice river he can explore. Of course it can't be so simple though, since Thomas is in debt and could very well lose the home. Not wanting to lose a home that had been in his family for so long, he struggles to find some way to pay it off. The three were like family to him, even if their occasional bickering set his nerves on edge. And of course, the constant trouble that seemed to find them. Virgil Anxiety Black was in his room recovering from a panic attack when the castle is stormed. His best friend, Remus Lucious, has just enough time to help him escape before throwing himself back into the battle in an effort to save his boyfriend and Virgil's brother, Crown Prince Janus. He gives the poor boy a panic attack while simultaneously arresting him and throwing him in the dungeons. While Roman recruits the help of his two best friends to help him figure out who Virgil is and why he's in their territory Virgil is rightfully panicking over the recent events. After a few hurt feelings and a couple death stares the Light Realm learns what transpired next door. In an effort to help both kingdoms Roman's and Virgil (now acting King Virgil) make a truce and put aside their differences. Roman and his two friends, Marquess Patton and Lord Logan, join Virgil in this epic quest to save their brothers, and the Dark Realm kingdom. Like any great tale this book is filled with Fear! Love!
