Caterine is a big warriors fan. Like, the biggest one ever. So imagine her surprise when she wakes up in the ThunderClan nursery; as Graypaw's sister Dreampaw! As she struggles through the first book of Warriors, trying to keep the plot as similar as possible, she starts making friends. And enemies. 

Now known as Dreampaw, she starts to realize that just being in the Warrior cats universe might not be the perfect thing. Sometimes we forget how violent it is for a kids book. She might be just an apprentice but she has a big role to play if she wants to keep the cats she loves safe. 

     "I'm a cat!" I yelped, jumping up in horror. 
     "What else would you be, a badger?"

She's lost, and doesn't know what her true destiny is, but maybe those cats near Thunderclan territory will help her... Russetpaw hears a conversation between Jayfeather and Lionblaze. Jayfeather had a dream from Starclan, and also, Jayfeather mentions Amberpaw, which Russetpaw now knows he has to find out what the conversation is.
