The prophecy that killed the royal seer at her birth is but right around the corner and Ayesha must find a way to go back home and save her world.

In the meantime, worried out of his mind and in his declining health, Ayesha's father recruits two of Sorceress Rumin's best pupils to seek Ayesha and bring her back to her kingdom, so she can be pronounced the next ruler of Silone.

All answers lie in finding the Door of Andrios, the very mythical portal that began this whole quest.

Will the Door be found on time? What will happen when winter finally arrives? All answers lie in a mythical portal.

Promise of the World [Canaan, Book 1] by Chryiss_Rose
12 parts Complete
Essairyn had never felt truly alive on Earth. It felt like something was missing ever since she was born, but even after twenty years of mundane living, she could never pinpoint what this or the emptiness in her heart was. Suddenly, she awakens in a grandiose, primordial forest and encounters both demons and spirits in a parallel world called Sol'h'meyr. She befriends, in particular, a sassy fox-spirit named Akari who just reincarnated after three millennia. Essairyn is an abnormal human with elemental powers, and Akari is being chased by those of her dark past. Together, they set out on an adventure in a world of magic, danger, mystery, and intrigue. But this not a game. That simple adventure is actually the modest beginnings in a chain of disruptions that tear even the dimensional fabric of time and space. No one, not even Essairyn, was who she thought she was. And not even the gods can change the destiny of the universes... A single promise shook eternity's existence. - Fantasy || Adventure || Romance || Action || Mystery || Drama || Science Fiction - Expectations for this Story: Immersive adventuring experience inside an intricate, magical world. Vivid imagery and deep characterization. Quirky magic system with mysterious elements and history. An original spin on the classic portal fantasy/isekai/waking up in another world interweaved with a science fiction twist. Scattered allusions and easter eggs. Builds expectations of future events to then defy that prediction. Slow-burn romance and complex, realistic relationships. Seriousness with a dash of humor. The Crownless Lands by SteScope
13 parts Ongoing
Welcome, traveler. Step into the Crownless Lands-a realm that should have been golden but never was. The maps still show grand borders; the songs still promise glory. But up close you'll find frayed banners, broken vows, and people trying to live between the teeth of history. Here, adventurers hunt fortunes that refuse to be found. Heroes rise late or fall early. Lives are traded, stolen, and sometimes-miraculously-saved. And the creatures? Some stalk the roads and terrorize the villages. Others arrive with a lesson sharp as a blade. And the kingdom's worst monsters wear crowns made of lies. --- What You're Getting Into: A weekly high/dark-fantasy pulp serial-fast, moody, full of intrigue, sorcery, and razor twists. Each episode lands a complete beat and ends on a cliffhanger. Where It All Unravels: A continent under a failing crown: forts crumble, roads go quiet, new rules harden. Towns and frontiers fend for themselves-more grit than resources. Bloodlines, Beasts & the In-Between: Shifts among humans, elves, dwarves, orcs, and classic creatures-some scourge, some uneasy allies. How the Story Moves: Chapters leap across the map, braiding many plots into one struggle. Local skirmishes mirror the bigger fight for a crown no one can hold. The People Worth Bleeding For: An ensemble of adventurers, exiles, heirs, and schemers. Not every arc finds light-some rise late, fall early, or trade all for one mercy. Your Weekly Drop: New chapters every Thursday, 6-10k words. Each deepens the world, sharpens the cast, and drives the saga-great for weeklies and first-timers. Important Note: The story follows multiple destinies; chapters are non-sequential and jump between plots across the Crownless Lands.

The Advent of the Phoenix [Dragon Age Inquisition Fanfiction]

42 parts Ongoing Mature

When attacked and taken prisoner on a mission, a battlemage discovers she's part of a barbarian prophecy and the Thane is determined to make sure she fulfills it. When Knight-Enchanter Evelyn Trevelyan is ambushed by Avvar barbarians during a mission in the Frostback Basin, she becomes the most wanted mage in Thedas. When she is taken in by one of the Avvar Holds, things become even more complicated as they believe she is the woman prophesied to save the Avvar from extinction. Unwilling to let their savior go, the Thane of Redhold holds her prisoner while the other Avvar Holds seek to capture her. As her status as a mage outside the Circle of Magi brands her an apostate, she can neither go back home nor can she simply accept this new life that was thrust upon her. This is a tale laden with magic, spirits, gods, and demons based on the Dragon Age Avvar culture. In the midst of it all is a complicated enemies-to-friends-to-lovers romance. NO KNOWLEDGE OF DRAGON AGE IS NEEDED to enjoy, though if you have it, it only makes it more fun! Warnings: Sexual content, blood, gore, assault, and trauma. The characters and world of Thedas belong to Bioware.
