She not only looks different (in a good way),but she has magical powers, she can control all five elements. This is very unheard of and intimidating to other mers. She is also a princess.

one day when Luna was walking along the beach at night,she spots Klaus. She tries to jump back in the water before he sees her,but its to late. When he saw her he realized that she is his beloved. So he does the first thing that comes to mind. he kidnaps her.
