It's something every American mother hopes her child has. They don't really care what is. They all just want something that sets their child apart from the others. Something they can boast about to their friends during their weekly gossip sessions.
None of my siblings had talents. They didn't have anything special about them. Nothing that made them stand out amongst a crowd. That's why when I was five years old and my mother found out I could sing like an angel, a guitar was stuffed into my hands every second she got.
