At a young age, I learned to stand on my own and find happiness in small little things.

If I won't, I will surely break.

I don't know who I am. All I could remember is my name, Dayana. That's it. I was 7 when an old couple, the Barnetts found me wandering in the Dalgar Forest in the South.

I live with the Barnetts in simplicity and a life full of happiness. They are kind people, adopting someone like me who they hardly know.

But I guess, even this simple happiness will be taken away from me. It was 10 years later when this fateful event will change my life forever.

They captured me. In front of me is the most powerful man on this Continent, Grand Duke Aiden Iori Huntington. He was looking at me with the darkest eyes I had ever seen. I wish there were looking at me without that much disdain and loathing though. But this overwhelming aura and pressure is no joke. I could not stand looking him in the eyes much longer. Why?

"So...", his voice is so commanding, booming in this damn dungeon. I feel my whole body shaking even though I'm already kneeling in front of him. I could not look at him so my eyes were on the damp ground.
