15 year old Nathan has had a tragic school year. His aunt and uncle died the summer before going into his tenth grade year, his grandma went crazy and just disappears. His dad dies during Christmas break. Nathan is ready for this school year to end, to get out of this slump he's in. Just as summer begins, something mysterious happens. Nathan soon stumbles upon this shadowy man and he doesn't understand why. Before he can solve the mystery, Nathan disappears. It is now up to his little brother Sam and two best friends Jaxon and Liam to him before it's too late. As they dive deeper into solving Nathan's disappearance, they stumble across an even bigger mystery that possibly may tie into Nathan's. As the days dwindle for them to find Nathan alive, they work harder than ever before it's too late. Will they be too late to find their friend alive? Or if at all?

Popular teen blogger, 17 year old Leah goes missing and it is the job of her friends Kendall, Ben, and Matthew to find her because no one believes that she is really gone. She leaves them hints to where she is in her crypted blog posts and her friends must waste most of their much anticipated Winter Break trying to find her. But they soon realize that there may be bigger issues involving their beloved Leah, then just being gone from home.
