WARNING WARNING, SPOILERS AHEAD!
Ed and Edna were never really one to say no to each other. When Jay had shown up at their doorstep one foggy night, of course they took him in. What else would they do?
But, as time went on, they found more kids who were just like Jay.
Kai, and Nya. The Smith siblings. Oh, poor them, losing their parents at such a young age. They needed someone to take care of them.
Zane. What a strange little boy. Ed had found him whilst fishing in the lake for scrap metals.
And poor Lloyd, washing up onshore one day.
These children were taken in, raised together alongside their best friend, Cole.
Their bond was stronger than anything that could break them apart.
So, naturally, when Lord Garmadon threatened their family... well, who were they to say no to a fight? After all, the man could threaten Ninjago all he liked.
But when he brought Lloyd into the fray, all bets were off.
A story in which six siblings join together. A retelling of a tale you have all seen.
Though... this one will be different than how you likely remember.

(May have huge gaps between upload times but this story will be finished, that I can promise) Everyone thinks of Kai as a selfish person who puts himself before others and many other negative things. As Kai's time as a ninja, he always heard these comments and he couldn't do anything about it so he has to bottle his feelings whenever people say this. One day when he was on a mission with Cole to save some adventurous that got stuck in a narrow cave a disaster struck on Kai. After the mission Cole got all the thanks and Kai got none, Cole was the only one who truly understood what happened. Kai gets sick of how he is being treated and leaves to have a walk to take his mind off of things... but then he meets someone he didn't expect to meet... Non-canon ships are not implied but take it as you wish, just not greenflame because no. The Smith siblings, Kai and Nya, together with their little foster brother, Lloyd, try to survive their difficult life with their abusive foster parent. They live far from everything, have little to no personal possessions, and lead difficult lives as their guardian's source of income. All they have is each other. One day, just as things start to become unbearable in the siblings' lives, an old sensei comes to meet the three siblings and makes them an all too intriguing offer. He gives them the chance to a new life. How will the siblings cope with the drastic transition from being neglected in an abusive household to living in a peaceful monastery amongst kind and caring people? How will their broken mindsets and crippling fears affect them and their parts in a prophecy? After centuries of being imprisoned beneath Ninjago City, the Serpentine, an ancient race of snakes, are realised by Lloyd Garmadon, son of Lord Garmadon, they seek revenge against the people who put them there.. The ninjas, Kai, Cole, Jay, Zane, and Y/n, initially sceptical of their abilities, must set aside their differences and work together. They discover they possess elemental powers, and master the art of Spinjitzu to combat the Serpentine threat, although Y/n has not unlocked said elemental powers, yet. * * * All your life you knew the Brookstones.(IK that's not their real last name, but it sounds better then 'Bucket', soooo) and for the longest time, the Brookstones son, Cole was your best friend. And what felt like forever, you had a crush on him, but you didn't want to tell him, out of fear he didn't feel the same way. (In this story, when Cole goes away he isn't found by Sensei Wu till after you.) When one day, you went over to his house, and his Dad said that he had gone away to the Marty Oppenheimer School of the Art's, which didn't sound right. After a few months, weird stuff started happening to you. One day, you were approached by an old man, claiming that you were an Elemental master, and that you needed to train to be a ninja. At first you were sceptical, but after some thought, you went with him. After about a month, the man said he wanted you to meet some other people like you. You didn't know what you expected, but you didn't expect Cole to be one of the people you were to meet. The man probably didn't expect you to know any of the people, but when you ran up to Cole and hugged him, you could say, it took him by surprise. quick note, you have two brother's, one older brother, and one younger brother. all she longed for was to be was part of the team. she deserved it, because she was an elemental master at the most highest skill. but why was it hard to be there without getting distracted? all jay walker wanted was to win her back. when she was his, he was the happiest boy ever. the happiest he's ever been, to be exact. but why couldn't he get her back after their most wonderful history? after all, he was the the good one, next to zane. all kai smith desired was her attention. if she was his girl, he knew he would ditch his "bad hothead" ways and do anything to make her smile. after all, good girls like bad guys, like him. all lloyd garmadon wished for was to get her in bed. don't worry, he also wanted to be romantic to make her feel amazing because she was different. after all, there's a dirty side to everyone, including him. in the end, amongst the chaos, danger, and drama, she will have to think of the ultimate question: who will she choose to be with? the good, the bad, or the dirty? x may have inappropriate scenes, so warning given in advance art not mine, credit to artist :-) dedicated to ariana (@cakeycole)
