Life on Sodor isn't as pleasant as you think. Meet the (maybe) dysfunctional locomotives of the (definitely) dysfunctional North Western Railway, located on the Island of Sodor, off the coast of the mainland United Kingdom. There's cheeky, alcoholic, idiotic Thomas Billinton, proud, angry, and strong Gordon Gresley, Wise and done-with-life Edward Pettigrew, Increasingly dumber Percy Avonside, Vain and closeted James Hughes, Grumpy pothead Henry Gresley-Stanier, Slightly insane hick Toby Holden, Strict patriot with a secret agenda Montague 'Duck' Collett, and bossy and crazed Scottish Emily Stirling, and dozens more. Watch as they haul freight, pull coaches, and try not to kill each other while struggling to avoid being killed by the British Railways modernization plan.
