Fledgling Blooming (MHA Reader insert)

The chipper chirping of birds flew its way through the window. A sign of Summer reaching past to overtake Spring. Once bald abominations, now young fledglings, birds outstretched their wings to explore the great beyond. (Y/N) watched from beside the window. Her heart beat slowly, steadily in a rhythm along with her breath as she tuned in her ears to their lively song. Her brow furrowed. Taking a deep breath out, she remembered her own time of leaving the nest. Having to stretch her own metaphorical wings was still a burden burnt ever present, and still she was ever aware of it. It was hard enough for a mute to go out into the world as an adult, but to move to another country for a (to die for) job offer? Now, she just wants to try to spread those wings, which (much to her frustration) she's been trying to do for nearly two years.
