I wrote this story kind of as a dedication to my friend who lost her baby. I want this to serve as a reminder to anyone who reads this that has lost a child, There is always hope and someone who cares about you. Even if you don't know it yet.
Christina Romanoff is traumatized from an event that left her childless. Her sisters, Yelena Belova and Natasha Romanoff, try to comfort her as best as they can but without knowing what it is like to have a child, or to lose one, they can't do much. Chris' mental health starts to decline until the sisters take her to a recording studio, knowing her love of music. When she starts to mess with the recorder she creates a soundtrack to a song, then coming up with the lyrics. Her song and story were recorded and left the sisters in tears. Eventually given permission to share the story, it goes viral. Will this push Chris further into the abyss of her mind or will it bring her out and make her realize that she is not the only one suffering?

Cue the "Underground" TikTok audio from Cody Fry. Imagine this: You're Nat's sister and go with her and Clint to Vormir. You learn that a sacrifice has to be made in order to retrieve the Soul Stone. "Whatever it takes..." you whisper. Clint and Nat start fighting. As they fight, you run towards the edge. You jump. You hear Nat and Clint's screams as it feels like you're falling in slow motion. Everything goes black as you hit the ground. You wake up and see a hand outstretched towards you. You look up and see Pietro standing there, a smile on his face. You're home. But... before we can get there, we must start at the beginning. To be honest, I thought my fic writing phase was over. I grieved Natasha, I said hello to Yelena, I checked in on Wanda. But the user @imagineshots on TikTok provided me with an idea that was just too good to turn down. The wheels began turning, the writing juices flowed, and this fic was born.
