The world is plagued and normal human movements are restricted. Everybody has to wear glass fish-bowls they call domes because of Keroi. Keroi is a widespread viral infection that travels through the air. Even the richest and most intelligent countries have no clue of its cure-only preventive measures are what keeps the fortunate alive.

On a typical day, Vianne goes out to fulfill a college requirement. She observes her surroundings as she waits for a jeepney. One moment, a man's painful scream envelop the neighborhood. The strangest and scariest events unfold like a movie in Vianne's eyes. Blood. Skin. Glass. At that very moment, Keroi isn't the worst threat to human life anymore. It's something more deadly, violent, and nerve-wracking.
