The Belcher kids and a few other students from the school are going on a field trip to Roller-Me-Over Coaster Park for a whole day. However, when Rudy doesn't show up to be Louise's partner on the trip, Mr. Frond ends up becoming her partner instead. What could possibly happen when these two have to be together all day long? Only time will tell.

My breath quickens as the contraption I was forced into - who knows how long ago - moves. After what feels like an eternity, the space around me stilled, and I jerk forward, falling on my wrist painfully. Suddenly, a strip of light appears above me. As the light gets bigger, I blink and see unfamiliar faces observing me. The strong stench of exhaustion and sweat hit me. As I slowly get up, I see a boy apart from the crowd, watching me curiously.
