That feeling, when your child is put into your arms, for the first time, is inexplicable. It wasn't any different for me as well. I had never in my life handled new born babies. Initially, I was terrified to even hold her. But once when she was in my arms, my exhaustion, pain and fear, laid forgotten. Her tiny palms were closed into fists. She seemed to be peering at me, through the crevices of her partially closed eyes. The best way, that could describe my emotions were, through the following sentence.
"It was like someone had quenched my thirst after ages of aridness."

The smile plastered on my face was so wide that, it revealed all my thirty two teeth. A small amount of dejection that I felt because of Lawrence's absence lost it's importance at my baby's sight.

Holding her close to my chest, I extended my index finger to stoke her quaggy cheek. A chortle escaped my mouth when she stirred in my arms. I just couldn't wait for the time when I'll watch my daughter take first step or speak first syllable.

My father brought out his long glinting sword and plunged it into my mothers stomach. It seemed the second time was more painful than the first. It was like the reassurance that nothing was okay. I pushed Mrs. Havisham away from me and fought out of Damon's iron grip. I stalked towardsmy father and his evil, hysterical grin. He opened his arms as if to hug me. I raised my sword and plunged it deep into his stomach. His face turned from a grin to shock and he looked down at his stomach to find the sword I was still holding implanted in his flesh. He looked back up at me and I pulled the sword out sharply, mercilessly. His face turned into a sick grimace which made waves of horror pass through my body. He fell to the ground just in front of my mother. A single tear ran down my cheek. I looked down at my mother and father, both dead, at my hand. Both bleeding because of a stupid peice of silver. "I happen to be your boss and I just wanted to introduce myself. Great first impression, really. You have a nice ass," "Mr. Antar?" A dark grin spread over his plump lips, enough to make me melt into a puddle of hormones. "Technically yes, but you can call me Logan. Or daddy, if that's what you're into." My mouth went dry and my cheeks burned so much I thought they would catch fire. "Relax, babe, I was kidding. Unless you want to," He left me standing completely breathless and anxious at the same time. I knew this was a bad idea to begin with but something was holding me here.
