Something sinister is abroad...and the Phantom Thieves are changing.

They are separating for the time being once more; some are staying in Tokyo, while others are heading overseas to the States to finish their academics. Ren, Ann, Ryuji, Yusuke, and Sumire have all been accepted to study abroad, but someone else is tagging along in hopes of reconciling their greatest loss.

Follow the lives of the Phantom Thieves and their journey around the world. Stand by their side as they fight their way across the Metaverse in a foreign nation, explore a new country, immerse themselves in a new culture, and maybe even battle through the biggest challenge of them all...romance! They are teens after all!

Ren's return from juvenile hall finally gave the Thieves the chance they had to talk about why Mementos still exists, despite Yaldabaoth's fall. When they return to investigate, Ren is acting more and more brash and reckless, and Makoto worries it may have something to do with Arsene and Satanael's odd lack of a 3rd tier evolution. Or they thought it was a lack. When the Reaper ambushes them, it turns out that it was about to meet its match. And it was as dangerous as it was suave. It's name? Raoul. - Vanilla P5, with the 3rd Tier Personas from Royal. Slight canon divergence, because the Metaverse stays around after Yaldabaoth's fall, with mention of other palaces as well, and Joker wields twin knives, not just one. Gameplay divergence because the Reaper is an ACTUAL THREAT (like in Striker's, god the Reaper is tough in Striker's) Shumako, Other changes to the lore, like Haru works with Ren in Leblanc, Sojiro adopted Ren, Persona's can communicate with their User's in the real world, and a few other little tweaks and stuff. Wilt: (of a plant, leaf, or flower) becomes limp through heat, loss of water, or disease; droop. (of a person) lose one's energy or vigor. After the events of Strikers. The Phantom Thieves would disband once more. Since there were no more targets for them to change the hearts of they had no need to stay together. They would all carry out their normal everyday lives. Continuing with their school life for the ones still in it. The former 2nd year Phantom Thieves would finish their 3rd year and graduate becoming legal adults entering into college, that's until there are still more targets to have to change the hearts of. (OC x Ren Amamiya) For as long she can remember, she lost her parents at a very young age and was raised and adopted by a Chinese-English speaking family that resides in Yongen Jaya along with her stepsister. She had learned how to speak Chinese and has managed really well in Kosei High thanks to her family until she was told that she had to transfer out of Kosei due to unknown reasons. Everyone around her in her current school were wary of her and she almost felt she didn't fit in until she met someone. Context: This is a rewritten fanfiction that was made back in 2019/2020(?). I wanted to restart because I didn't like how the story was going. This would include a lot of special things including spoilers and custom plots which is 100% original. As for the title, it would later be told in the story about the 'other live'. This story begins around the start of Kaneshiro arc, around June 21st. The cases I've worked on up until this point have been small, but worthwhile. Then all of a sudden, Japan becomes riddled with crime. Unique and volatile deaths begin popping up everywhere, and I'm assigned to the cases. The more I discover, the more blood is shed, and my life wading through small-time criminals disintegrates into a dangerous game of cat and mouse that leaves me on the edge of reality and dream, teetering on sanity and psychosis. At all costs, I must support justice, and persecute the culprit. Even as I continue to lose myself in the process. But then I realise, the very devil is the transfer student in my class named Ren. With his addictive eyes and enslaving demeanour, he becomes so entrancing... That I must pull myself together and take his heart, before he takes mine.
