Safe Haven has begun to evolve with the integration of Xirxine into its society. Things seem to have slowed down, giving the director of Xirxine International--the mysterious Mr. Barakoa--an opportunity to bring all the representatives of each Safe Haven the chance to meet. However, the meeting isn't just about making nice with the other Havenites; beneath the surface boils a troubling discovery that will require the combined might of the Avatars reawakened power to combat. 

Meanwhile, as the representatives confer in a hidden cave within Cueva de los Cristales, the Northwest Territories Safe Haven experiences issues of their own as they come into contact with a force that might spell trouble beyond even what Xirxine International has discovered. 

With two massive worldwide threats looming on the horizon, how long can Xirxine and the Safe Havens remain hidden? Will they manage to keep themselves secret, or will these calamities thrust them out of the shadows and into the light...?

Before the Convergence... Before the Avatar was chosen... before Xirxine ventured beyond Safe Haven's borders... there was a legend. It told of a glorious battle between a phoenix and a dragon, a days-long war for the fate of Safe Haven. In its most basic summary, the dragon appeared out of nowhere, took over the hidden world, and was ultimately disintegrated by the phoenix after their battle. So the story says.
