The event forces all passengers to head for the shore. Many don't survive. Those who do suffer the unrelenting wrath of mother nature and find themselves trapped with no idea what to do next. Everything would have been social chaos if not for human survival instincts, resulting in a sense of comradery and cooperation. Completely isolated and without communication with the outside world, most modern technologies must be completely reinvented for the purpose of returning home. Led by the captain, his right-hand man, and Pei, an ambitious bibliophile, the community races to assemble the raw materials around them. That should last at least a year, if not longer, if it went undetected. It was the noble thing to do he thought, considering the enormous ever-growing state body count. We join Sinclair now on the military passenger jet as he finds himself once again witnessing a murder. His closest colleague's murder. But for Sinclair... there would be a more intimate end-of-life experience.

There's mystery's that need solving, teenager-high school problems, dating through an awkward time in your life (relatable), and learning to cope with siblings, especially siblings that can't stay out of trouble and constantly start fires. So... why not take a looksee.

There was more people, there's someone, or something else, on this moon, this planet. And it wants them gone, or dead. Either way it's obvious Rhent and his group aren't welcome here. And they all have to use their gifts to survive and work together. If only Rhent remembered his gift, and if only they all worked together. If only they could get off Nexanveer. But the harder they fight, and the further they go it seems, they'll never get out alive.

This is the story I'm writing for NaNoWriMo 2015. The goal: 50,000 word RAW draft written entirely in the month of November. Unlike most of my stories, which I prefer to edit before posting, I'm actually going to post updates to this at the end of each day in chapter-sized chunks. The idea behind this story is that a terrorist attack in the near future causes the US to go hyper-isolationist, to the point that it abandons Hawaii and Alaska to fend for themselves. They do, forming the United Pacific States (maybe with a few other island countries). Hawaii then goes on to turn itself into the new world police with stealthy, genetically modified cyber-soldiers. I'm marking this story as mature because there will be action scenes, and probably some interesting perspectives on nudity and relationships. I'm not planning on anything explicit, but this won't be a kids book. Validated winner at 50,040 words!
