She thought she was over him.
It's been 5 years.
27 year old Shen Yue was sitting on the couch, eyes starting blankly at the wall. "I've moved on," she thought, contemplating within herself. "Yue, you MOVED on." Shen Yue repeated to herself multiple times in her head. Shen Yue was frustrated, she couldn't stop thinking of Dylan. Dylan Wang. "Yue, stop it." Scolding herself inwardly.
5 years is a long time. A long time to mend a broken heart. Enough time to slowly put the broken pieces back together.
5 years. . .
"Why now?" Yue sighed heavily, closing her eyes.
"Hon?" A man's voice echoed in the room. Yue opened her eyes and mustered up a smile on her face. "Hmm?" She responded. "Let's go, we will be late to your reunion." He smiled.
"Oh that smile, so dreamy." Yue thought, returning the smile to her current lover. "Current lover??" Yue yelled at herself. "Yue, he's the one you love. Jasper loves you, you LOVE Jasper." "Yes babe, let's go." Yue stood up, Jasper reached out his hand. Yue intertwined her fingers with his and looked lovingly at Jasper, "Perfect fit." Yue thought, as they walked out of her apartment.
"This is going to be hell." Yue thought, "Why did I say yes?" She groaned inwardly.

What she didn't expect was when she woke up the next day and got ready for day was to find a man with purple hair bruised up. She begins walking to her son's room to wake him up and get him ready for the day when she trips over someone. Yue looks at what she tripped with and sees a man in the ground unconscious seriously bruised from the face. Her eyes widen. "fucken shit", Yue yells at the top of her lungs.
