Darlene Rose Davis is the new girl who has a troubled home life, an ex who only used her for one thing, and a love for baking meets the star QB, Ace James Anderson, who hates everyone because of an ex who cheated on him with another football player.

Will they both put their hurtful past asides and fall in love or will they let it get the best of them?

Ace's POV

She just looked so perfect sitting there with the sun highlighting her beautiful face. I've been dreaming about kissing her ever since I accepted I liked her as more than a friend.

It was absolutely pure bliss. Her lips are definitely softer than they look. Silky pillowy smooth, I didn't want to stop kissing her. The sweet smell of her Rose perfume that filled my nose made it all intoxicating. It wasn't a fast needy kiss, it was a soft, slow, loving kiss that I've never had the pleasure of experiencing.
